Fantinekill Cemetery Daylight Exploration.
Along with our April 2nd investigation at Litts Cemetery in Monticello, the Sullivan Paranormal Society also took this oppertunity to visit Fantinekill Cemetery in Ellenville, NY. It was quite a contrast to the small, forgotten Litts graves, for Fantinekill Cemetery is a beautifully cared for, expansive cemetery just on the edge of Ellenville. We drove in with the hope of exploring some local history and left with more than we knew.
Sensitivities were heightened as a few in our group “noticed” that we weren’t alone, and here and there we could not shake that “creepy” feeling that we all knew too well. Many photos were taken, along with audio and video recordings. The most notable being the “Sightseeing, are we?” EVP caught by our Tech Specialist, Bee accidentally during an instagram video. This spurred our excitement and drive to return with the entire team on April 6th.
On April 6th we weren’t disappointed. Barb’s sensitivities were still coming in waves when she stopped to do an EVP session beside an older, toppled over tombstone. “Behind you,” was heard later in evidence review after she had asked, “Are you here?” A woman’s voice, barely a whisper, was also caught on the same recording.
Fingers are crossed that we can return for a more extensive, in depth, night investigation. We’ll keep you informed. The EVP’s and some photos are already posted on our website.
