Pike County Historical Society at The Columns
After visiting Grey Towers, the Sullivan Paranormal Society ventured over to the Pike County Historical Society at the Columns nestled on the main road in Milford, PA. Built in 1904, the Columns houses many interesting artifacts (Including the Lincoln Flag, a girder from Ground Zero after the 9/11 tragedy, etc.) and a haunted history we just couldn’t pass up.
Some speculate that the building is haunted by Juliette Pierce, and some of her clothing is housed here on the second floor of the museum. An apparition has been mentioned as well, creeping it's way through the second floor hallways. Natuarally a location with this type of reports was a high-priority on SPS' radar.
While walking through Columns some team members reported experiencing headaches while in particular areas, which quickly disappeared when moving into other areas. Other members sensed “something” while walking around the notorious second floor of the house.
Sullivan Paranormal Society managed to secure a date at Columns and returned for a terrifying overnight investigation on August 16th, 2014. Details on this investigation are still being gathered so they can be presented to the Columns musuem before we present them to the public. :)
